Mike Murphy

EVP & Chief Risk Officer

As Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of The Bankers Bank, Mike oversees funding, interest rate risk management and audit and risk management functions that help ensure the bank’s strength and stability. He also serves as President of The Bankers Solutions, guiding consulting and service development that support community banks in achieving their goals.

With more than 35 years of experience in the banking industry, Mike brings a broad perspective to his work. Before joining The Bankers Bank, he held leadership positions with Prism Bank and First American Bank in Norman as well as with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

Mike is an active member of the Oklahoma Bankers Association and has served in multiple executive and committee leadership roles. He earned his MBA in management and marketing after completing undergraduate studies in finance and accounting, reflecting his lifelong passion for learning.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys hiking, walking and helping others.
